I have to keep in touch with my business associates to keep informed of our business activities. Emails ofcourse is the way, but some times we have to discuss and make decisions right away. So, I have to make phone calls, and that can be very expensive too. Phone cards have become the solution. Do you make long distance calls often ? And, do you use phone cards ?

I don't use phone cards. I don't need them here in estonia. I just have my mobile phone and it's all. I have used phone cards when I lived in Germany, then it was quite good to use them.

I used to, when i still didn't have my own cellphone. Now, that i got one i don't use phone cards anymore. Here in my country we can use our phones by buying prepaid cards or getting eloads. The latter is more popular because you can buy loads at the least amount of 15.00php only. Phone calls thru this system is charged, less than 10.00php i think.I am not very sure because i don't make phone calls now, i only use text messaging in communicating with friends.

I never used phone cards...ever. I don't really know why or I haven't really thought about it. I guess I just find using the cellphone a lot more convenient. I know I do sometimes waste money because a lot of times I don't even use the phone when calling home just because the cellphone is easier and very convenient.

I don't make long distance phone calls often and no longer have a long distance carrier. I have two ways to make long distance calls. One is with phone cards. The other is with a credit card that I have that includes 30 mins. of free calling each month. The phone cards I have are ones I got on sale at a discount store and end up costing $0.03 per min. or less.
