Wheret is your all time favorite vacation spot???

I too have been to Europe...twice... and some of my favorite vacation spots are in Europe. My top spot is Switzerland followed by Venice and London. I'll say a little about each of them from my memory. Everywhere in Switzerland is beautiful and captivating, especially Berne and Lucerne. These are charming and delightful cities. What I love about Switzerland too are the Alps and the friendly folks. I've been up to Mt. Titlis and Mannliken, both by cable car, and it is breathtaking up there. You get the on-top-of-the-world feeling when you are right on top of the snow capped mountains. Venice as I remember it is a very charming and romantic city. It is very unique, with much of it surrounded by water, and with many islands joined by bridges. I took a gondola ride at night, and while the gondolier paddled the gondola down the canals, a guitarist serenaded us with some romantic singing. It was wonderful. We also saw glass blowing in one of the Venetian shops selling Venitian vases and glassware. It was unforgettable, and I'd love to go back to this unique city. London is a must-see city if you are in Europe. It is so vibrant, cosmopolitan, beautiful and so historic. The museums there are great. All the famous places we learn playing Monopoly come to life, like Trafalgar Square, Kingscross Station, Picadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Oxford Street, etc. And there are so many more historical sites and buildings there that are inspiring to see. Then there's the large Chinatown in Soho and the many parks around. There's so much to see and do and warrants spending at least a few days there.
