hi friends i was updating my profile, so i see over there that many people choose others snaps and nature or anything else picture for their profile pics. so i didn't understand why they choose in such a style . Can you tell me Pls i have choose my pic for my profile. Prince Sad

Personally speaking i put abstract images because this is similar and unsimilar to a social network. You talk to different people, make friends, the difference is that everyone sees what you post. I don't put my picture for the following reasons: I wouldn't want anyone going blind I wouldn't want people to send me lawsuits for harming their eyesight ..... ok kidding.. seriously though? It is because i feel that it is a bit to personal and some individuals might judge by what they see... call me paranoid if you like... i don't do that... i have friends from all over ;) I am not saying people do that here either... just my personal feelings... Why flowers and not some childhood photo of myself? I like them! And i love red! So you get a bit about a person's personality through what they post as their picture ;) Have a great day.

hi nadoo. first of all thanks for your brief rply. then i am agree with your comments, But i see most of the females didn't want to share their gender or may be you can say it personal information. although you are also seems to be a female, but it is good to see to secure your information. I have no issue in stating some general things about myself if it relates to the topic... but things such as my name and address are a no no... also yes i am female and married why do i mention this? Because i consult my husband with personal info i post or pictures. Why? To avoid any possible misunderstandings. He actually encourages that i put married or what not =P He is the jealous sort... that is a different issue lol Each person has their own personal preference as to posting information and or what photo(s) they wish to post which is why i like mylot (another reason among my growing list of reasons) you have the freedom to share as little or as much as you wish about yourself =)
