What is a good substitute for fruits?

I seldom eat fruits. I just didnt like them. I only eat very few kinds like banana, mango, pineapple. Since I dont eat that much fruits and I know I need fruits, what could be the best substitute ? Thanks in advance guys.

maybe you can drink more water,and take some vitamin pills~ but the medical supplement may not work as well as the natural one. i think fruits taste good,and you know they are also very good for your health,why you don't like it?! you can have a try!and keep eating fruits everyday~

I dont really know the reason why I dont eat too much fruits. The only thing i remember is that my teeth will be very sensitive when I eat fruits. I will eat very few but fruits are always not in my grocery list.

haha ,funny.you should go and hold two lines fake teeth!^ ^ just a joke ,don't keep in mind~ then what about fruit juice?!maybe you can make the fruit into fruit juice!!!

or maybe I could use the fake teeth that some kids used when they went trick or treating LOL. but yeah that was my problem even i was a kid.

You could also get these nutrients from many of foods in the vegetable group, but it's better not to eliminate one food group in favour of another. Oh yes that s true. Vegetables give almost the same nutrients as the fruits. And you're right. It really needs to be a balanced diet to make all of these nutrients working correctly.

I am also very selective in eating fruits. I eat only banana, mango, grapes and apple. We know that we need to eat fruits for it has rich in natural vitamins and minerals and since we are selective in fruits I try making it into fruit shakes so as we add more better taste to it. Before I hate to eat carrots but when I mix it with apple as shakes I was able to drink it.

wow that s a good idea. mixing the fruits to create something new. yeah fruits are good for the body. and that's why i am looking for substitute. anyway, thanks for your response.

You could try having fruit juice or making fruit smoothies. I don't think there is really a substitute for fruit. Do you keep your fruit refrigerated? I used to have a hard time eating fruit because it was always cold. Now when I want to have some fruit I take it out of the fridge for half an hour or so to let it warm up before I bite in.

Hmm that is a nice idea. fruit smoothies. I might try to do that. And yes i put the fruits in the refrigerator to keep them fresh longer. Thanks a lot.
