I have never used tampons or even seen what they look like as I am not at all interested or the prospect of using them ever occured. I am fine with regular pads and i don't find them cumbersome. I can carry it off even if I'm wearing a fitted jeans or dress. Are tampons easy to use? I'm not sure a lot women use it here in the Philippines. They're not very common and I think it was introduced just a few years ago. I remember when I had my first menstruation the oldies would not let me use disposable napkins coz they thought this would be bad for me. They'd convinced me to use cloth instead. I tried it but was never sold to that idea becuase imagine the work you have to put in the whole process. aren't we glad disposable napkins were invented? I have read in a magazine that some women who use tampons sometimes forget to remove them causing bad odor and infection. is that possible? i mean, how can you forget to remove something like that? I think I will settle for the regular pads for good.

hi desireeo...i have always used pads. i sincerely tried to use tampons following the directions and could not get it in properly. i wanted the convenience of a tampon. but i tried so often trying to get it in right only to not have it work and i started to injure myself trying so hard. i started to wonder if something in my body was not in the right place. anyhow i just used pads from then on. my sister used tampons but at times she needed a pad to put under the tampon when she was especially heavy. so they are not perfect.
