I am really upset right now, I just read on Ciao's member center where they have
dropped the $1.00 per review they were paying down to $0.25 cents...
I was afraid something like this was going to happen on there, that place
has just EXPLODED WITH NEW MEMBERS RECENTLY[i][/i][u][/u]
and like most sites, there is a lot of ( crap ) going on there so its no
wonder they lowered that part of it;
I don't know whether to cry, have a big "hissy fit" or smash something!
No, can't break anything here I might have to "sell it"...

I was so ( counting on that site) to help me out with monthly expenses between
now and the end of December.
To pay my car taxes etc..etc..etc... ain't that the way it goes though??

Sorry about that. I hate this sort of thing. You where really relying on that money too. I was told about Ciao this morning by a guy on here, he recommended it to me, but I think I will give it a miss now. This is not fair though. Yes put in a complaint, they will probably be losing their members quickly now. Awk that is awful, I would want to smash something to. But you are right we need everything we can get at the moment. Sorry about your day.

Hi Hildas: Thank you for that, ( very much appreciated), I would still join
if I were you, you do rack up other money on there cent wise it all adds up
quickly kinda like here, but if you've not joined I still would;
I really like it ( money wise) and hey you never know they may increase it
again or do special things, I'll just have to be sure to READ the member center
more often, ( which I don't do) , thank God for Friends that pay attention
though huh?? LOL!

Yep! So long as you have a paypal account that's about all you need (G)!
There are a lot from the UK there and I know they have a ciao.uk version too!!
not sure if that is more surveys or what ?? do you know?? or have you looked

i feel dumb becouse i have done only $10 at it, wenn i could have mde a lot more, i knew it was going to happen like evrytime everywhere and i was there 20 day nd only worked 2 of these to see what happens. Anywys it still one of the best was to make money online, so not manny people will leve. And then it is the same for them so why to py us $1 when they can pay 25 cent..

over there, Heck 25 cents per review is better than nothing, poor old hands though
not sure how much of this kind of typing I'll be able to do all winter long;
as the weather gets colder I'll be having more difficulty typing...

sorry to hear that. i have not done anything on ciao but have looked at it. i actually thought that mylot would stop paying because so many have joined on here too. i am suprised that it hasnt changed too.
do you have anything that you can sell on ebay? this is the time of year to sell as more people are on there hunting for christmas gifts.

HI Cher: Yeah I'm still selling on ebay, I've practically sold everything of any
value in my home the last three years, living on Disability pay just ain't enough
these days the way things keep changing, I have to pay so much on my stupid oxygen too each month ain't that crazy??
I was hoping to get away from the selling part, I've done that ( tried too )
the last three years and I am running out of stuff here at home, I tried to
sell other peoples stuff too and that WAS A BIG MISTAKE UGH!!
also tried dropshipping that's another nightmare...LOL!
so Was glad when Wendy told me about Mylot and from here I've learned about
Ciao and other writing places which is good, I just am bummed out!!
it doesn't take much to send me into a depression...(G)!
But I always bounce back too, ( that's from my meds) (G)!
I hit rock bottom and then slowly rise up to breathe again...
Yes this is the time of year to sell ANYTHING really on EBay but with
our economy the way it is, even that has slowed down (for me) anyway
as I said I'm grateful the site is still up, and I'm grateful this one is
still up and running, thank the Lord...its just sad!!

have you tried doing surveys? i know there are a lot of scam survey sites out there, but i have about 10 that i do regularly and its added up to over 300. some pay via check, some via amazon checks, and a lot straight to paypal. the great thing is, i get the same survey from 3 different companies and they each pay me for them.

I happen done to bad it's just depends on how much you write. The more you write the more money you make. I just knew a lot of people was looking for a site that actually pays, and they usally pay on time. I don't write as much as I should as well. But, you can make money on that site if you put in more articles. I just wanted everyone to know that it's a ligit. site. I hear some many people looking for ways to make money online,and wanted to let everyone know they can trust this site.

When I read this discussion I went to the site to check it out for myself. And it's so true! Oh my! This is really a sad news. I've been putting a lot of effort in writing good reviews that's why I couldn't do more than two reviews lately. Oh gosh! I was hoping I could save more for the holidays. Now I would have to double my quadruple my effort. My oh my! Don't fret! At least they're not closing up.

Oh my! That's so sad. Wouldn't you end up in a hospital if you scald yourself? I sure do hope you're just kidding. Yes I do have the same ID there. Now it makes sense. I've been trying to write a new review but couldn't seem to find something to review about. I guess my instincts are telling me something I somehow missed out. That it's not gonna worth a lot to put so much effort in it. Grrr.

HI Potrish: Well lets' just say the water is really really really hot, it would
be too hot for most people; I've taken really Scalding hot showers since the
car accident and having a gas water heater ( thankfully) It stays hot, my hot
water doesn't run out and It would be way too hot for most sane people:
because I can stand it so hot, it just doesn't bother me its the only way I
can get quick pain relief neck/back and for me to get my stiff hands going
to where I can use them sad but true and I'm only 47 with a 99+++ year old body LOL!

HI Potrish: Exactly! That was my biggest fear that they would just shut down
they've got several companies in other countries too, not sure what they were
paying for stuff there but here in the USA, That $1.00 per review was GREAT!!!
are you on there with the same name as here??
Yeah I'll just have to scald my hands more I guess during the day to keep them

At least what you did up until yesterday was $1. Oh well, .25 is better than .01. It's really hard for me to find anything to review on there, and some of the reviews that are written are not understandable even though they are in English. Maybe they'll eventually set up an algorithm too and better reviews will get more money.

Oh well DUH! I went back and read through the payment rates. The Premium Fund is set up on an algorithm, but only the top best written reviews get put into the Premium Fund. Yep. Gotta improve on wording and details, that will help a little.

LOL! I agree with what you said about the algorithm LOLOL!! I agree I agree
and I even need/should improve my own stuff to make it even better;
(sigh)! but yes .25 is better than those little pennies but even those add up
here and over there and a few other sites, but its sure sad when you see those
wee pennies and know that well heck I did all that writing and typing and what
I earned I can't even buy a stick of gum or use the bubble gum machine;
(I'm referring to some writing sites) not mylot or ciao but some others I use
where I earned like .11 cents and a whole penny on one of them, GGEEEZZ!
That one I earned a penny on I have to get like $25.00 before they do a payout!
its gonna take me a long time on that one huh?? Mercy me!

i am so sorry to hear about what is happening in ciao... i am not a member of that site yet and i think it is a bit cruel of the admin to lower the payment so much from $1.00 to $0.25... i hope that they are going to increase it again for the sake of its members... hope your days will get better too... take care and have a nice day...

better now, Yes its upsetting that it went from a $1.00 to a quarter but so long
as they stay and keep paying I'll shut up ( stop my whining) and be happy;
Just wish I had discovered them MONTHS AGO or even YEARS AGO that would've
been even better (G)! But oh well!!

Jan, there are lots of paying sites. Maybe not the $1.00 per review, but they do pay. MyLot pays. Gather pays. I am told a lot of others do as well. I hope you have good luck meeting your expenses. I am sorry this happened for you.

really taken the time to figure it out yet..LOL! But I will, I've got my foot
in a few other writing sites;
If I can hang in there and keep writing and posting and so on, some day all this
money is just gonna kick in and I won't know what to do with myself..LOL!

Wow that is a big reduction. Ciao I heard about this site too. But have not signed up for it since I am not too happy with wasting too much time trying to write something.
I do wish you luck in getting through the rest of the months. I also have property taxes due and it sure is a big chunk and I hate it because it is always due right before Christmas.

glad they are still there ( site wise ) and I know they are legit in paying
since I've already made payout last month; But it will all work out if its meant
to be, I'll just have to do more typing and writing and explore my writing
on other paying sites too, gotta find those creative juices somewhere lurking
in me..LOL!
Everything happens before Christmas doesn't it??
I really like ciao, and I love Mylot too so will have to divide up my time better
throughout the day...

Oh, bad words. I was wrong again. I said we'd earned a dollar up to yesterday. When I logged in today my earnings had been reset and everything I'd earned since the first of the month had been reset to .25. Sure glad I cashed out at the end of October.

Hi Bead: I know I didn't quite have enough yesterday to cash out and was hoping
today to cash out and surely still get the $1.00/per review I had done but NOPE
they had reduced it and well I could just scream some more, now that part is
just WRONG[i][/i][u][/u] but nothing I can do about it, I was so dis-heartened this morning I've not even written anything yet...(sigh)!
and Now I've taken this silly new "dizzy" pill and I'm so friggin sleepy here
and making mistake after mistake, gonna have to go take a nap, crap!!!

from people like us visiting the site, others searching for those items
we review, you know, but I've no idea for certain but that is my guess;

I would still join Ciao if I were you, you make money not only with the reviews
you write up, but you make money from reviewing other peoples write up and you
get so much from referrals and so on, but I would still join, those quarters
will add up quickly enough, I just will keep telling myself that and it will
still be a lot more than what I was making per month, which was NOTHING a lot of
the time, plus what I'll be making here and hopefully SOMEDAY from some other
writing places I've joined...money is money and we all need money this time of year
for sure;

Hello: They have many many categories of products you choose, own or use and write your opinion about them, my favorite section is the recipe part; I love to cook
and bake and that's where I spend most of my time, They also have tons of movies
on there which is a favorite of many too, TV's CELLPHONES, YOU NAME it Its on there;

I would agree with you regarding new members, who doesn't bother to even polish it's review or go back to it's review and at least make it something better. As if it is a competition over there of who has a lot of reviews made. It wouldn't be a problem at all if the content would have more than just what it is. Although it's a huge drop yet as you have said, I am also still grateful for it's decent amount but it would be better it it's 0.50 cents. Anyway, this offer has been around also for more than 10 months already and I believe it's due also.

I thought WOW! Wonder how long this will last...well now I know I joined
