Would you let your child work and go to school full time?

I was wondering if any of you MyLotters parents would let your child go to school full time (1st time college student, working on Bachelor's degree) and work full time as well? And would you have high expectation, in terms of grades, knowing he/she is working full time? And is there an alternative if you (parents) are not contributing to his/her college tuition payment.

If the kid is working and paying his/her way through college, the parents should have no expectations. I worked full time, went to graduate school half time, was married with a child and made Dean's list. So it is do-able. I took my son to swimming, hockey and piano lessons, he did not lack for my attention. It is a matter of establishing priorities, there was no TV, no music, no recreation and very little sleep. But it can be done.
