Hi all. I am starting my Christmas shopping soon and I know my mother would like a digital photo frame. I have never been all that keen on them, but I am willing to purchase one for her, although they are quite expensive. What do you guys think about digital photo frames? Do you own one? Are any good?

I have been thinking of buying digital photo frames which I find quite amazing. But we do not get much of varieties here so I have asked my sister to bring one for me when she comes down to country. My friend has one and she loves it! Thanks.

I did end up buying one for my mother and she loves it, I loaded it with photos of the grandchildren and she proudly displays it in her living room. She is really happy with it, thank goodness!

I don't own one, but I know several people who do. And they love them. They come is so many different styles and prices now. The cost has come down quite a bit since they first came out. I have even seen some where you can push a button and it will print out a print of the photo you were looking at. I'm sure those are pretty pricey, but the basic ones shouldn't be too bad. In fact, that might be a good gift for my in-laws.

Thanks for responding. I have never seen the ones that print photos, they sound great! I will probably buy one for my mum. If it's pricey I'm sure my sister will share the cost with me and we can buy one for her together. Hugs Paula

Hi Paula, I in fact got one for my younge daughter last Christmas and my brother got one for my mum for her birthday and loaded it with photos of us all as she lives in a different country and they absolutely adore it. They have come down in price a lot and I am considering getting one myself too. I suppose in a way they are a bit of a novelty but I would prefer to see different pics rather than have a fixed frame of just one up on the wall all the time. If that is what your mum would like I would get one for her. Huggles. Ellie :D

Thanks, my mother doesn't have a great deal of room in her house for a lot of different photo frames, so on one of these she can have several photos in the one place. I will probably make her very happy if I get her one.
