Praying for your children

i have started a discussion on praying for your husbands. i think it also goes true with praying for your kids. we all want to raise "good" kids in a safe environment so that they will grow up to become successful, even surpassing us. but no matter what we do, we cannot perfect protecting and parenting them. we can never control them. i think the best way to achieve things for our kids and to become parents to them, is to pray to our Heavenly Father. There is no other good example of parenting than we can have than our heavenly father. for example, if we need more patience towards our children, i think the Lord can best help us because He Himself has been so patient towards us, despite all our sins and shortcomings. things like that. as for me, i have been praying for the baby in my womb--everything i can think of, for his welfare. and i also pray that God will enable my husband and myself to become the best parent that our child could have--parents who glorify God in everything they do. all for the glory of God! let us start praying for our children! good day all and God bless you! :-D
