Facing the seven years kid old sometimes makes you impassion. especially when you ask him to do his homework. he prefers to play around than to do it. is there a way to make him do his homework without loosing your passion?

It might help to set aside a particular time each day and let him know that he is expected to do his homework at that time. Don't make it right after school, though, if he's only 7 he needs some time to play and relax from his school day. Give him a particular place to do his homework where he won't be distracted by TV or other household activity, and give him a small treat when it is done, like a cookie or snack, to encourage him to finish. Let him know that doing homework is for his own benefit, not yours, although it pleases you when he gets it done. Getting him to have good study habits while he is still young will help him greatly throughout his school career. Best wishes and good luck!
