ET made my seven year old cry. My family and I watched E.T. two nights ago. This is the first time my children had seen it. I was 6 when it came out and I loved the movie. But when my children saw it my 7 year old broke out is mega tears when he thought ET was dead. What movies made you cry when you saw them?

I don't remember if ET made me cry. I wasn't quite 7 years old when it came out. However, I saw a couple of movies this year that made me cry. Paulie (1998), which my in-laws sent to my husband and I by mail, made me cry terribly, though it also made me laugh as well. LOL It was a wonderful movie. If you haven't seen it I recommend it, especially if you like birds. Another movie I saw was "The Secret Life of Bees", which came out this year. Although I held back my tears as I went to the movies alone (a first for me). After all I didn't want to be crying my eyes out while driving home! LOL PS I turned on the notification so I'd be sure not to miss any of your discussions, but for some reason I haven't gotten even one! I did it right after you accepted my friendship....

Aliens :D Really, the scene where Ripley stops being a tough babe and takes care of Newt really touched me (the scene where she makes a clean spot on newt). Incredible but true.

There are so many movies that make me cry, but I am an old softie. I cry at certain commercials even. I cannot even begin to list what movies make me cry.

The movie that made me cry was Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par a movie about a young boy who has learning disability and is coping up demanding father and teachers in school . There was this one song int the movie where he is taken to boarding school and the song "Maa" is played in the back ground which really brought tears in my eyes. This movie was critically acclaimed in India and is the official entry in the Oscars for the Best foreign film category

I have never cried at a movie...not for beign sad anyone. - i have cried with laughter at many I am sure - But I can honestly say I have never shed a tear of sadness at a movie. At my last place of work, they decided I had no tear ducts for being so heartless. haha.

Beaches was one. The ups and downs of an unlikely friendship. You couldn't help but cry towards the end of it. Another movie that made me cry was The Pursuit of Happyness. When that man finally got that break after all he went through, shoot, if you wasn't crying for him, you would have. I won't lie, I was feeling it.

I think perhaps I am very emotional, there are quite a lot of movies have made me cry. I can list a long list for you, such as Brave Heart, City of Angels, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button etc. I even cried when I watched a cartoon movie called Robots. I love China

"Beautiful mind" made me cry. Particularly, when the hero gives the speech after receiving NOBEL prize is moving .
