i think the reason is there are more hard headed children now that there was before. i can not really point exactly the reason for first i am not a teacher, second most of the kids today has a different attitude at school than at home. or in the case here in our country there are too many students in one class so the tendency is to shout more often when the children are starting to get noisy, just my views.

in our discussions about that matter, our instructors really stressed to us- future educators not to shout over our students. we are advised to speak gently in a mellow tone of voice which won't scare the child.

I strongly disagree with this matter. The last thing school teachers should to is to scold the children or even to shout at them. children should be handled with patience and affection. if they can't handle this circumstances, they shouldn't become teachers. school teachers that scold children should be suspended from their function.

i totally agree with you . India has culture of beating students till 90's that has stopped to large extent by now. But scolding and shouting is something a trait teachers still use to control the classes . I feel surprised and sometimes fearful where from they develop such habits ......after little reserach I found it is from school. Whenever I visit some school such scenes in India are quiete very common ? Thanks for your response and such a nice information... Happy Mylotting Take Care Ganesh
