Ciao Made me Shocked!

I am not joining this site yet but I plan to check it out and maybe join if I see it worth. But then, I have been hearing negative comments lately about this site. I am not sure if I have to check it for myself or just never waste my time doing it. I want to join a legit site.

i was quite a bit disappointed with ciao also.from $1 per review, now $.25...the only chance now to earn more is through rating..but you must have a good reviews... i think this will only benefit those gifted writers at ciao..otherwise not a good pay of spending hours writing just one review

That was really disapponting. From $1 per review now it's only .25cents. Although I know from the start that $1 per review is only a promo but what really makes me feel disappointed was I'm only a new member and only earned from my two weeks being member there. I didn't earned much before they reset the payment again from hehe. Anyway I think I will still do some reviews there if I have more time .25cents isn't too bad at all. Have a nice day..

Yes, I was so happy the other day when I found out that i had more more than 10 dollars already in my account and had even requested for pay. But today when I visited my site, my earnings was reduced to only more than 3 dollars. I was shocked too. Guess that was really shocking but then I will still make reviews for the site.

It happened to many of our accounts. It happened to my account also. It is shocking and surrpisisng. I could not believe that a site like ciao will do that, it real hurt their reputaion.

hi, rainmark. i was surprised too a little while ago when i checked my ciao account. i joined ciao only two days ago. this morning my earning was $0.54, now it's $4.68 or something. i was surprised because i think that increase was too high, seeing that the rate per review is only $.25 and i was only able to post a total of 3 or 4 reviews. NOW, i am afraid that if i log in again, i will see a decrease and i will feel disappointed. anyway, thanks for posting this. if there is indeed a glitch and my earnings will go down, at least now i am prepared for it. take care and have a nice day!

Hi. Ur discussion just surprises me and immediately i went back to check my account balance. I haven't made any review this month, and i am just waiting to get my old payment of 15$. To my surprise, ciao has decresed its review amount from 1$ to 0.25$. And i think this is gonna disappoint many of the members thers. Perhaps,the decrease in ur account balance may have been due to the same reason. I hold only 26 cents as my current balance, so there was no change in my balance. But sometimes, writing a review becomes too tiring and getting paid only 25 cents for the same would be disheartening. Anyway, I am not writing any reviews now and will be hoping to resume this activity after i get my first payment from the site. Till then, Wish you all the best at writing reviews!! My account was $5.17 when I logged off last night but when I woke up it was $3.20. I am hoping that we will still be paid the regular dollar rate that I earned while doing the other reviews before it changed to the .25 rate. They cut payment pretty drastically.

I was in complete shock too when i log in to ciao yesterday noon, my earnings of $15+ was changed to just $7+.. And i feel that it was very unfair, becasue since they only announce the change in earnings yesterday, so only earnings from yesterday onwards should be affected.. I'm just so disappointed with them, and hope that they wont turn out to be like ximmy..

Hello rainmark, same thing happened to me. I sign up for an account at Ciao 3 days ago, and the other day I have more than 2$ in my account and when I check today it was down to less than a dollar. It is very disappointing especially because I am still new to it. I wish I would get back the 2$ and start earning 25 cents after every review made after the new rules.

Actually i dont know how much does Ciao pays per survey. I wrote 3 surveys they paid me .90 but later i wrote 2 more surveys and my earning did not change. I dont know on what basis actually they pay. And yeah do you know how do they pay you, i mean through paypal or they do direct bank transfer. Can i get paid if i live outside UK?

I was also shocked when I logged in to Ciao. I'm not too turned off by it though. I'll still write reviews there. 0.25 per review isn't that bad. If you do just 4 a day, that's $1 a day or $30 per month. How many posts would we have to make here before getting $30 per month? My point is, we write here for .02, so why not continue earning on Ciao for 0.25?

I'm not a Ciao's member yet. It's sad your account get reset when you have tried hard to earn. It is occur most of the time? If yes, you should spend your time here in myLot instead. ;)

Hi Rain; Yeah I was mega upset too this morning, when I saw mine and later today I seen where they posted that it was a computer GLITCH AGAIN! ( trust me ) I know all too well about their computer glitches...(sigh)! but hopefully it will be fixed in a few days... ya know?

I feel like I missed out on a great opportunity. I wasn't aware of Ciao.com until the I heard about the price cut from $1 to $0.25. I was very upset I didn't take advantage of this site, or find this site in the first place before this drastic price cut. Now I don't think I'll join this site at all as a result.
