Does studying ever become easier?

High school started just a few months ago for me and it is a little harder than I expected it. The lessons are interesting but the things that we are learning about are sometimes a little to complicated for me. Doing those test every few weeks is nice but the amount of things we have to know (for example) for the theoretical part of a Math test is inane compared to what we had to know back at Middle school. So my basic question is. Does it get easier with the time? Or will it always be this hard? Or will I simply get used to it and just think that it becomes easier? I like studying but sometimes I feel like all this amount of information that we have to learn is a bit to much for me. And hearing thins from this 3rd grade student that I was talking to 2 weeks ago didn't help me either. He basically scared me when he was talking about one of the exams that we will have. I am a IT student and I will have this exam at the end of this year and we have to learn a bunch of things about how the first computers and CPUs/etc were build and a lot more about emulation/math,etc.. The word part is that we will have to talk to our lecturer in this exam instead of just doing a little exam on paper.. I already start to feel bad when I just think about it.

Unfortunately there are a lot of parts of school that will continue to cause anxiety. Or they did for me anyway but that's because I am a slacker and a procrastinator and when deadlines approached I had to cram all the work into a little amount of time. Just hang in there. The most important thing is to study hard and do your best. Now that i've gotten to college I've realized that the only real thing you learn in high school is how to study effectively. keep working at it.

I am trying to do my best but so far it hasn't been working. Keeping all this information in my head is hard. Also I get this feeling every few months where I wonder why I am doing all this. I know that I do it to get a better job and to increase my knowledge but I am getting a little tired of going to school for the past 13 or 14 years. I know that we are learning during all our life but not by going to school. I simply have this odd feeling that I haven't really lived. And I am not even sure if I will be able to get a good job after I finish High school. There are simply so many things I am thinking about sometimes so that it start to scare me. Like what kind of job I will get and how will I live and where will I live,etc... Thank you for replaying. I will try to keep that in mind.

I dunno if it's the same here at my country but as you enter a new level of education, the difficulty increases. Studying will be easier if one would have heart on it. The topics might be harder but you can always overcome them by good management of time. Hope that helps. ^_^

Thanks, I don't have exactly a problem with managing my time its just so that I can't remember all this information that we are supposed to remember. The only problem is my memory. It would be so easy if I had a perfect memory and would remember everything. But I most probably will have to manage my time when the exams are closer. I just hope that I don't end up failing and leaving school. :( That would be a nightmare.
