Heaven, Hell

What does heaven and hell means to you? Is it a place where are souls go after death? Or some energetic field that capture our energy and keeps it there? Or some spiritual place where we meet God or Satan?
1.) How would you explain this?
2.) If a child asks you what is heaven or what is hell, what would you say so the child would understand?

1 It's the afterlife. You die with jesus in you, you go to heaven, hell for those who don't.
2 Heaven is where Jesus is, that is where you will go if you are good and Jesus is in your heart. Hell is the place where bad people without christ in their hearts go.
