Hey mylotters. I LOVE to play hockey, and I am 14. So I play for a school team, but the problem is around here you can not play hockey through the school, which means its club hockey and you have to pay not only for your expensive hockey equipment but for ice time and refs and everything, it adds up to be about $700. Does anyone else think that the school should have to pay some of the costs?

Yes, they should. But the problem is that hockey is not only expensive but it isn't as popular as football or Futbol or all the other sports. Here, P.E. is being cut all the time. It seems like if it isn't on the test, the schools don't want it.I am so sorry to hear about your lack of hockey.
