Do you commit to one temperature or do you change it often depending on how cold you are at the moment? If not is it because it will make your bill higher?Or does it even matter?

My thermostat is usually set around 68.I don't heat when i go to bed so i just turn it off.I have the radiators so when you turn your heat off, they still stay warm for hours.

My roommates and I usually keep the a/c off, and have fans going in all the rooms until we can't possibly bear it anymore. If we do turn the air on, we keep it at 74 or so. For the winter, it's usually at 70 at first, and then we try and turn it down one degree every week or so as much as we can bear. I think I read somewhere that every degree you turn the heat down, you save 1% of your usual bill. Dunno if that's accurate, but it's something to think about.

They recommend keeping your thermostat on 68 in the winter and 78 in the summer. I try to keep it there but if i am really cold or hot i adjust it. I do see a difference in my bill if i am able to keep it at the suggested temperature though.

I change the thermostat depending on how i feel. If im hot ill turn it lower and if not well i leave it wher it is. I prefer the cold over warmness so at night i leave the thermostat at a certain temp and if i get cold i just get under the covers.
