A good friend of mine doesn't believe in God but says there's a higher power/powers. I'm not sure if she's wrong but that's her belief. I believe there is a God and gave his Son Jesus. Some people believe that God doesn't exist because of such an imperfect world or some many bad things that happen to good people. So What do you believe does God Really Exist or Is there Many Gods?

Though I am not religious. I believe that there is someone who is of a higher power than any living being here on earth. :)

Truly sounds like you have the comfort and love of god. But either way it's a true and wonderful comforting experience.

Yep! someone of a higher power. Religious people believe that their God (Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad, etc..) is superior that they are. I also believe that there's someone whose superior than I am. Not because I read it from some book, its because I feel him/her. Like when I go to the sea, watch the sunrise and even when I fall in love. I seem to know that there is someone who is responsible of all the wonderful things around us that we would not be able to create by ourselves, someone who does not make me feel lonely when I'm alone.

Sounds like you're talking about the Christian faith. Your friend has good reason to not believe in that one, but it's okay that you do and wonderful that you guys aren't letting this get in the way of your friendship. To better understand where your friend might be coming from, watch the first 30 minutes or so of Zeitgeist. It's free to view online or download and burn for television viewing (all free). www.zeitgeistmovie.com . There are a LOT of loopholes in Christianity, and every religious system, that are filled-in by faith. Faith is a very useful (and comforting) thing and is nice to have.

Yes I am talking about the Christian Faith. My friend and I have stayed good friends because we really don't talk about religion. We Talk about other things. And I don't force the issue. I think there is to many Christians out there today who force it apon people therefore people walk away and don't want to be bothered. Another thing is that I'm different than from other Christains. I have things that I personally believe in. I don't believe in everything of what certain religions say. But I know what I truly believe in and what I feel or rather have faith in.

I am open to religious beliefs and I know and accept that people need to believe in something. However, I don't believe that talking to invisible people in the sky is really sane. Personally I believe in love, hope, and life. I think we have the ability to make our lives what we want, and that no one is watching out for us. Things are the way we make them. I see religion as a just a bunch of "gangs" playing pretend and forcing their children to listen and obey them. Using "God" as a reasoning for everything is underestimating your self when things are good and blaming someone else when things are bad. Again, these are just my thoughts and not to be taken as words of hate. I fully understand that people want something to believe in and I applaud those who can see things as they believe they should be and for what they just are. A bowl of water is just a bowl of water unless you truly believe it is divine water. Then the bowl of water becomes a gold dish with the holy spirit in it.

Is there really a God? Without question I am blessed to be able to say "yes". I had a very powerful mystical experience back in 2003. I kept it to myself for a long time because I believed my family and friends would think I was crazy if I shared it. But now I've decided to share my story. In a nutshell, I literally stood at the foot of God. How is this possible? you'll have to check out my blog because I am writing about the experience there. Please note, I need to update the blog with more of the story, but that is where you'll get it. Go to http://www.robbiesrevelation.com to check it out. The experience was beyond words! :)
