the blood sugar level is the amount of glucose(sugar) in teh blood also known as plasma glucose level. Its measured in Millimoles per litre(mmol/l) Usually they vary throughout the day between 4-8mmol/l. When very high levels of bloodglucose are present for years, it leads to damage of the small blood vessels. This can increase the rick of developing diabetes complications such as eye disease, kidney disease, nerve disease, cardiovascular disease( heart attack, hypertension, heart failure and stroke) ect. So by keeping the blood sugar levels stable, you significantly reduce you risk of these comlications. Can anyone tell me hoe you go about reducing the sugar levels without completle stoping sugar intake??? Plz help
