Do any of you have inactive referrals?

Do you have inactive referrals? People you worked hard to get to sign up for you and they just aren't producing? Even given up points on referral programs to non productive members? I have found it hard to get referrals for this site, and I have been going at it alone for some time despite the fact that I have had a ref here for three months. He signed up and never checked in. I contacted him and he told me he'd get active. Two months... nothing. I'm not putting anybody on blast here but are any of you experiencing this problem?
I don't think I'd delete him but I want this site to start making me a little more cash. How do you feel about these types? How do you get good referrals?

I have three referrals, all of which are inactive. Oh, one was really active for a couple of weeks and I was even earning more from her activities than my own posts! Hahaha! 
But well, now, it's been quiet from all sides of my referral, I understand that MJ is in US right now having her seminars, and so she is busy. The other 2's, oh well, they're my friends as well, but they prefer not to get busy with mylot and so I can't really force them. I don't want to delete them either as they might want to get active one day. I'm not really mad at them, I'm just glad I was able to help them earn here and vice versa. 
But well, now, it's been quiet from all sides of my referral, I understand that MJ is in US right now having her seminars, and so she is busy. The other 2's, oh well, they're my friends as well, but they prefer not to get busy with mylot and so I can't really force them. Yeah I am not mad at anyone. Just wish I had a way to get active refs up here. I have tried a lot of tricks and invites and banners, nothing works. I would be ssssssssoooooooooo happy if this site really started paying off for me I guess. I'd spend way more time here if it did. I have gotten paid once from Mylot and it will probably be a month before I reach payout again (on my own of course).

I have only one referral, my husband, and he isn't active at all. He did post a few times, but that was months ago. I tried to get a few of my friends to join several months back, but I guess none of them are interested in joining mylot. Oh well, it is their loss LOL, as mylot is a great site!

And this truly is a great site. I love just being here not even fr the payout. Sometimes it is a release. It is an outlet for creative writing. I would recommend this site to anyone and yet it is hard to find anyone to join.

I haven't really experienced any earnings from my referrals. I have always tried referring my friends to mylot. And i even succeded in getting some. At present, I have 6 referrals under me, but unfortunately, none of them is active. Infact, neither of them posted a single response.I just wonder y they joined the site then.
I know earning just 25% of what they earn will be still only a few pennies, but a few more pennies added along with the pennies you earn, is better than earning nothing. Moreover, earning those few pennies without any effor is more worth.
Earning something is better then earning nothing. So, i just wish if i could sometimes have an experience of earning through my referrals!!
How much we earn through referrals also depends on the activity level of our referrlas and also on the number of active referrals which i don't have any. 
But its really hard to get people going on this site initially

And the person who referred me just got payout and she is inactive!! Imagine that!!! She gets money from my effort and I don't have any referrals that are working for me!! Why is it so hard to get people on this site?

Thats amazing. The person without any activity making her payout.. You can surely demand ur part.. ha ha..
Well, the reason behind not getting referrals or about their inactivity is the lack of interest or inspiration. Sometimes, i feel that mylot payout rate is too low in comparison to what a person would expect in his/her perception of earning money online. Not everyong is like us..

I mean I know that we aren't going to get rich here. The people I have sent requests and invites to are people who I thought would be perfect for this site. I never just randomly pick all my friends for this one. Just certain persons I know love writing or blogging or wasting time on Myspace and getting no compensation. Even my "referree" says the payout is too slow though she got paid in like a few months without any participation. If she could find three referrals like me she, would get paid for real!!
I wish it were the other way around!!!

im with you on this one shamsta...I have 3 referrals with only one being semi-active...and that is my mother...she was very interested in the beginning and I was making a pretty good few pennies off her...but life has her busy and she barely logs in now :( Another of my refferals is my little sister- which was active for about 2 months and then not another word from her...if you find the secret go getting good refferals...please pass on the piece of knowledge ;)

Nad warm at this point I am not even very active... My mom is benefiting from my work here regardless and she's not active. I am going to start logging in more regularly because this is the only site that actually paid me anything..... See you in future posts!!!

why are you asking that sad story? i have 11 referrals and except 3 all are just signed up. they didnt even started doing one post. are you asking about the other 3?
well, they to quit off after 2 and 3 days.. so i have no luck with referrals. not only mylot. to any of my site. i was really amazed by the peoples who has even 30 and more referrals so easily.. i think luck is also needed here!

I have no problems with any other site. It has really been hard for me to recruit anyone to this site. I know if they were to sign up they would love it here but I have yet to get any good referrals here. The one I have I got from Simplerefs, a site where you earn referrals and then request they join your sites. This cat hasn't done anything but sign up and cost me points I could have used to get another referral. Amazing.
