How many friends in your life?

What is then considered to be a friend? Someone who is always with you? Someone who cares for you and be there for you? Someone you can have an advantage with or simply just someone who you feel comfortable with? I would consider myself to have many acquaintances in life, but a person with few sincere friends. I may seem to be someone who seems to have 'friends' no matter where I go, but then these are the people whom I do not really consider as my friends. Rather they are just people whom I have met in my life, and have changed me one way or rather. They are my acquaintances. Then they are the people who have been with me through thick and thin, with no conditions imposed on me whenever they help me. They care for me and give me support as and when I need such. Those are my guardians. My friends are few. They are the people who have known me long, People who I feel comfortable with and can hold a conversation with, without feeling like I'm bored. The people who I miss when I don't hear from them. Those are my real friends. But i think i have only 1 or 2 in my life. False friends are not called friends at all. They are rather strangers whom I have the misfortune to meet in my life. And I hope that these people will just get a life and leave me alone. That's all to it.

Hello mylottians thank you for posting your comments. I like making friends. I have many and see actually your are responsible for friend to be bad and your friend is when you are. A friendship is a single soul which dwell in two hearts. Yes there are false friends but you can feel it in the middle life itself. So make many friends and be my friend too.
