I didn't encounter that so far. why are you saying that? Did your Mobo Virus got infected? If it's doing crazy, try updating your BIOS.

Hackers are constantly thinking up new ways to attack as many computers as possible. I don't know why but they do. I use an antivirus that claims to be able to catch virus' as soon as they come out. It's called threatfire, At http://www.threatfire.com/ It has caught a couple of virus' before my regular AV program and I highly recommend it. It's a free download, It updates itself constantly and it takes very little space on my computer. Really all you have to do is download it and forget about it. It is an excellent product. I am in no way connected to this program and I do not make any money if you use it so i have no bias towards it except that I am very happy with it.

There are virus that is used to target Motherboard BIOS but it is really rare. The way to get rid of it is to erase the EEPROM of your motherboard and load in a fresh BIOS. I'm afraid I do not know how to do it but you can send it back to the manufacturer and the engineers will do it for you...at a price though.
