Many mylotters are placing their links breaking the mylot rules. Are they thinking that let them get the publicity till their discussion is deleted or because of sheer unawareness?

I suppose only links to webpages are allowed ya. Members with post counts of 500 and above can post referral links in discussions.

Most of the times are due to ignorance and the rest are looking for somebody that they could somehow fish something out.

You meant referral links? Most of them are old mylot members who have secondary accounts just to satisfy their other intentions by enticing new mylot members! When new mylot members see that, they think its ok to add links as well as a result, they break all the rules! It then goes on and on! Some simply do not read guidelines at all. But for most it is intentional!

I think most of them are unaware- others I think hope to get the attention (good, bad or indifferent). I have seen many posts with referral links and while I don't want to come off as a B#*@h, I do point out ot them that is a quick and sure fire way to get their post deleted. Thanks
