Are we caring for the extinct animals?

Lots of animals, birds and fishes have permanently disappeared from the surface of earth. Say for example, Golden Toads, Guam Flying Fox, Bali Tiger, Bulldog Rat, Pig-footed Bandicoot, Atlas Bear, Jamaican Parauque, Tanna Ground Dove etc. Some are still there, like Squirrel, Tortoises etc., however, they are in endangered species list. What are we all doing to save them?
