Its about time that you strated a new discussion. I got fade up going to your prpfile searching for new discusions! And what a way to do it! terrific imagination and digressive!! I am distracted to the point that can't remember much about the mammaml except that its a mammaml! lol.. Now that's stupid but I haven't seen a bat except in a zoo when i was a child. It was hanging down from a tree and was very undistractive in nature. Will share some more when I remember.

ha ha ha.....Mr.cupid finally succeeds in starting an interesting discussion....BATS.......I doubt if you are the secret batman moving around in the nights.....lol. All that I know about bats is that they are mammals, they hang upside down, they are friends of Dracula, they are found in scary stories. I never touched them ever. I have seen them flying in the dark evenings....., they seem to be blind as they go and bang their heads anywhere in the walls...I don't know how much brains they have....I think this is enough for now..........

This discussion reminded me of my hostel days. There was a zoo near the hostel and one could see a lot of bats on the trees there. At nights these bats would fly near our hostel too and we would be scared to take a walk in the compound at nights sometimes when we saw too many bats around.

Even though they have no eyes they sense objects around them and very rarely do they dash into people. There were more than a 100 bats in the area at that time.

Cupid, you are free to start any discussion on any topic so please do not think over much about deciding a topic. As per the dictionary defination of a bat - "It is a nocturnal flying mammals of having membranous wings that extend from the forelimbs to the hind limbs or tail and anatomical adaptations for echolocation, by which they navigate and hunt prey." I have seen it many times at night, however, I have not dare to catch it with my hands. I think bats fly at night with the help of sounds waves.

Hi Cupid, I don't want to explain more, I knew that you already got information about the same because I am responding lately. I just want to inform you that I have seen a bat and touched it when I was a kid. In our village there were so many bats so I could watch the same. They are sleeping upside down and active at night in search of food. Sometimes they wrongly entered in our house so we could observe them very closely. Bats are the only mammals that can fly.
