first job

How much did you earn from your first job?. I joined a consultant firm after finishing my degree and they paid me Rs.3500 as my first salary and after an year, I joined another reputed company in Chennai and got 5000 as my monthly salary.

I was paid £11 a month for my first job in London. My season ticket for the train journey in cost me £5/m, I bought lunches for £3/m, I spent $1/m on myself and gave my mother £1 and saved £1. Ok, that was over 50 years ago but it is all relative. The big thing was, I actually saved some money each month!!
