I love garlic but I don't think I'd want garlic ice cream. Ginger sounds tasty though.

At the garlic festival in Gilroy California USA garlic ice cream is a big hit. I've never made it to the festival and doubt that I will now that I have moved far away from there, but I would love to try it. I love garlic and use it in most of my cooking. My dad has a joke that garlic and or onions are mandatory in all foods that we cook with the exception of coffee. It's pretty much the truth. We don't use garlic in deserts, but...hmm. garlic ice cream. yummmm I might be able to put it in deserts too. I just found out that a good friend of mine really doesn't like garlic. So next time my dad visits me and we cook for her we are going to have to find a food that we can make without a ton of garlic. It will be hard, but anything is possible. When you slow cook garlic it becomes very sweet and wonderful. I've never heard of ginger flavor but I'd be willing to try it. I heard of corn flavor. I think it's weird, but I'd still try it once. I put garlic and ginger on vinegar along with chili pepper. I drink this for my cough and colds. It's really effective and I hardly buy any antibiotic for fevers and flu. I like my ice cream sweet to soothe my soul. Cheers!!

for the garlic, think it will not sell.. just think of it, your eating a ice cream in the park with someone else and if you ordered this kind of flavor, the odd smell of garlic will be smelled by the one who is with you.. or let say your are in the office and that smell can be irritating to you.. for the ginger, its healthy and can be sold to the veggie-lovers... =)
