Do you like sugar in your coffee?

It's bad for your health to drink sugar every day in your coffee. Besides I think it turns the coffee too sweet and ruins its flavor. Personally I only use half a packet in a cup (I'm talking about European espresso), because I just can't stand the pure flavor either. So how do you drink your coffee?

Hi there! Welcome to mylot. I prefer coffee with sugar, but not much because I don't like it if its too sweet. I also like fresh milk in my coffee. But my husband doesn't like sugar in his coffee or even in a tea. Thanks!

Hi guys. Just wondering, those of you who say you put creamer on your coffee are american, right? Because I live in Europe and I've never seen anyone do that. At least in Portugal. We basically only drink espresso anyway... so that's much much concentrated

Hi AcidPT, I often drink coffee with only creamer. But once in a while, I'd take black coffee with sugar. I am not used to just coffee alone, without creamer or sugar!

Hi AcidPT, every time I drink coffee, I use sugar. Really, it's bad to our health every time we use sugar everyday. Try using organic sugar, mascobado sugar. White sugar is very sweet because of the chemicals in it. Mascobado sugar has no chemical, the molasses are not extracted, unlike the white sugar.

I love coffee especially natural brewed coffee. In Kalinga Province, Philippines we have lots of coffee beans which we have selected, dried, pulped, toasted, grinded and brewed. We love to put sugar as to neutralize the distinct coffee taste. That's the Kalinga way.

I don't drink coffee everyday but when I do its usually flavored coffee with two teaspoons of sugar. If I don't have flavored coffee I will have suger in it and flavored coffee creamer.

I have my coffee with half & half and lately I started drinking it without sugar. Never liked coffee too sweet, I used to add less than a teaspoon. I decided to quit sugar, as I love other sweets, preferably chocolate :) But that's a different topic...

I prefer to drink my coffee black, though if I love certain flavored coffees with sugar in them. It's odd that the unflavored is the one I savor most sans sugar. Chocolate, hazelnut, and vanilla coffees are very good with sugar, but also without. Sometimes I have creamer, but if I have creamer I rarely have sugar. Most of the time though, I just have neither.

Sugar for me!! I think it just tastes a little better with the sugar. I've had it black but I do enjoy the sugar taste. I actually probably use more then I should but it just tastes better to me.

If you want to enjoy your coffee time then you can add sugar. If you need coffee to help you in your work and want be more energized then its time you drink it with no sugar. I drink it with sugar most of the time, and dont drink it strong.
