The most cruel thing I see at home

I am here just state what I encountered when I was a little child. It's about rats, happened at home. I live in the countryside and rats come and go every where. In my country, rats is kind of pest, they eat rice,of course by stoling, they kill fowl like chicks and ducks, they stole all kinds of food to keep living. Most of people have no idea about ecophysiology, so they tried very mean to clear up rats. One day, my mom was cleaning up our house and she found a nest of rats. It's newly borned rats, with pink complexion and body, no skin at all, even can not creep,kinda lovey,they are cheeping like they are hungry waiting their mom and dady come back, very lovely. My mom immediately cought them, rapped with paper, threw into the fire, I saw them wriggled, struggled with tragic sound, chared and died at end...For these tragedy I didn't talk with my mom for over one week...but now I forgive my mom, she actually no nothing about acophysiology, she just want to keep our rice from destroyed by rats...but in my mind, that's the cruelest matter I've ever met, she can find another way to kill the rat, not on fire...
