Do you believe in prediction or fate ????

I believe God has created a fate for every one of us. Each of us is destined to have a different fate in life. However, I don't believe in predictions because predictions are done by human beings and not by God. Human beings are weak in nature and I don't believe we have the supernatural powers to know about the future. In my religion it is also prohibited to believe in such thing as predictions. We are asked to pray and work to achieve success. Don't rely on predictions because it will make us lazy if we know we are going to be rich in the future. It will also make us angry if we know we are going to receive bad luck in the future.
