And Then Someday

Someday all will be flowers Then someday all flowers will return to the sand No one will ever have the musty smell of flesh and blood There will be darkening light in a tiny muscle of dust and smoke There will be nothing, nothing will stoke the fire of hunger There will be no one smiling, no one crying Only the battered heart will be ageing in praying and yearning Only the sighing relief will be thawing Someday when all will be coming true after a daylong dreaming When all thinking souls will be thriving in flowering And then someday all flowers will go down the way wilting and withering There will be huffing and puffing, and all will be mourning.
