Do you believe that there is only one person in this whole wide world for you ?.This is the one person made for you .This is the one person that can make you happy. This is the only person who knows you inside out ,your likes and dislikes. I personally dont, because I take issue with any attempt to view relationships and persons as programmable entities . I question any notion that any two persons are alike and that that they will coexist without problems because I know from experience that relationships require a lot of work.In addition I wonder what would be the outcome if you didnt find your soul mate .Are you condemned to a life of unfulfilled passion ?.What if you find your soul mate and that person dies, should you or can you love again knowing that you will not ne as happy as before based on the soul mate theory .Finally is the person who is supposed to be your soul mate thinking about you in the same light ?

I feel like the concept of soul mates really is more of a personal decision, and because it's more personal, there really can be many soul mates for one person if that really is the case. Some people can spend their entire lives with one partner while some people have many people they spend certain times with and for that amount of time, that person really makes them happy. I think people lump soul mates into one huge category when there can be many different soul mates for one person over time it just depends on the person.

I have always believed that there's someone out there for us. My husband is my soulmate. I knew it from the time I fell inlove with him. We have almost everything in common and we do understand each other so well. Most of the time, we think alike too. It's like we connect as one.

Yes. Many people ask "do you believe in the perfect person?" or "do you believe in soul mates?" I think there are differences between both. A perfect person probaly does not excist. I mean, there's ALWAYS something that's not perfect. A soulmate does excist in my opinion. I also think there are more than one. I think my girlfriend is my soul mate. If she would die, I wouldn't date anyone else and will be loyal until my end.
