Olive or Chuck...who do you think The Pie Maker would be better with?

I know Chuck is Ned's childhood sweetheart, and they are absolutely in love with one another, but I can't help but wonder how difficult a life with someone you couldn't touch would be. Furthermore, Olive's been pining for Ned FOREVER and, as she's one of the best characters on the show, I want her to be happy. In my opinion, she's prettier than Chuck, and a wittier, so, why wouldn't Ned ever go for her? I digress...I just want to know, in your opinion, faced with the facts that Ned can't touch Chuck EVER, do you think it would be better if he and Olive got together instead?

I have to say CHUCK! CHUCK! FOREVER CHUCK!!!! I know it would make more sense to choose Olive because she loves him and he can touch her but love isn't sensible and the heart wants who the heart wants and Ned's heart wants CHUCK!!! I like the character Olive better than Chuck though, like if I were going to hang out with either or I'd choose Olive. Kristin Chenoweth is ADORABLE in everything ever but most especially as Olive and as Glinda in Wicked.

She is absolutely ADORABLE! I didn't know she was in anything else...so I'm definitely going to have to check out Wicked...I take it by the fact you called her Glinda that its a different version of Wizard of Oz? I definitely see the point where you can't help who ya love...also..it wouldn't make for a very interesting show if Ned was practical in that sense...love is hardly ever practical..lol :)

Actually Wicked is a broadway musical (and now off broadway and is touring the US and also is being performed regularly in London) Kristin Chenoweth was in. It's absolutely fabulous if you're a fan of musicals, it's my absolute favourite! Unfortunately despite originating the role she gave up doing the musical to go back to tv and other projects so you won't be able to catch her live but if you do a search on youtube you can find clips people have shot with their phone cameras and things of her performing in it. Wicked is a different take on the Wizard of Oz where we see things from the point of view of the witches Glinda the Good and of course the Wicked Witch of the West, it's a FANTASTIC story, great lyrics and much better than the book Wicked (and Wizard of Oz for that matter *L*) in my opinion :)

I think he should be with Chuck although the temptation to touch would be unbearable, and if Ned was to be with Olive it wouldn't be the same it would be like settling for second best
