Today afternoon, when I was returning home bringing my kids back from school on my two wheeler,I narrowly escaped an accident. It was drizzling slightly and when I was trying to enter a moin road from a by lane,a person on a two wheeler coming from the other side noticed me only a few seconds before he applied brales to avoid hitting me.In the process his byke got skid and he felldown.By God's grace, he was not hurt but started abusing me about my way od driving and warning about meeting an accident as I'm having kids with me. I was horrified by the situation and couldn't speak anything except saying sorry to him. Even them, he continued abusing me and went awy. I reached home very much disturbed and after a while spanked and shouted my younger one for petty issue for no fault of him. Still, I couldn't change my mood and want some advicce from you.I don't exactly remember whether I blew the horn before entering the main line but I'm sure,I was cautious in driving and did not hit him at all.

Let’s not go into whose fault it was coz then we wouldn’t have had any accidents. However, you can blame this incident of this guy abusing you on typical Indian male mentality. seeing a lady on a scooter and that also carrying her kids herself, gives Indian men kind of inferiority complex. I have seen this many times regarding cars. So many well dressed and sunglass wearing men get booked for rash driving and drunken driving but the moment the passer-bys see a women driving with slight mistake, they start passing insulting comments like she doesn’t know how to drive or women make lousy drivers and so on. Some also try to become uneasily sympathetic. Actually we women have evolved in our roles much faster than the men have.

Hi vsraovsr. Thank you for presenting the issue that bothering you. There are some common situation that we face in our everyday life causes us to be stressed or depressed, sometimes the entire fault is of other party. In my opinion the best action in this situation is to try forgetting the incidence as soon as possible, try to engage mind in other constructive matters. As you keep on hording your bad feelings or emotion, that will only hurt you and your family. So best is to pardon and forgive.
