I don't think you should worry about it. Give it some time and practise from time to time and you will get better, I'm sure of it. I never got any certificate for swimming. An elementary school gave us swimming lessons each week but I couldn't deal with the teachers. They were kind of mean and I just couldn't learn. So I kind of went on my own to swimming pools and taught swimming myself with the support of my friends. That really helped a lot.

I learnt as a little girl from my parents & friendly people in swimming pools or at the seaside... I didn't learn so well though!! I still want to learn proper! (& I'm 32, lol!!) I learnt some more this year in a spa pool... I printed out some info from the internet & a nice lady showed me some things.. I still don't know some more complex styles... Looking forward to still learn that! (There are even courses for people in the pension system!! so there is always time!!)

I learned to swim when I was seven years old(seven years before),my father said that I don't even move an inch on the surface,so I stopped. Now I began swimming again, and the good news is---I could actually move in the water! Man,don't worry,as long as you love swimming, and being able to swim 5 times a week, you'll be able to swim well soon!
