Sometimes it's easier to open up with somebody who is a complete stranger..but a genuine friendship? do you think it's possible?

Yes I know its possible, because I've experienced true friendships with quite a few online friends. I've known at least a couple of them for 5 years or more straight, and met one of them in person at an anime convention and it was awesome. I tell my closest online friends secrets I probably would never tell anyone I knew and saw everyday. . .but if I do move near where my friends live someday (since they both live in Southern California too), I'd probably still tell them stuff I wouldn't normally tell people I went to school with.

I think it's possible and right it seems that sometimes that I'm more comfortable to open up with a complete starnger here which eventually turned out to be my friend. It's a wonderful feeling sharing with somebody here and yes, genuine friendship could be possible here.

I think its possible but we must be careful in doing that particularly if we do not know the person very well, we might end up with having a pure enemy rather than establishing good friendship. You know, internet becomes one of the wicked ways to reach to an innocent victim. But we cannot deny the fact that there are still genuine person who use internet to look for friends that will be kept for life. We just have to be careful and watchful.. Goodluck!!!

I think that i could be possible. It might not be the best and safest way to meet someone, but it can happen. I have met people over the net that i can consider good friends. I don't tell them everything that goes no in my daily life like a real life friend, but as time goes by, I think the relationship will strengthen and a strong friendship could happen.
