a man and a woman are lying on a sandbeach saying something.
the man:"my love for you is just like a cycle in which there is no ending."
the woman:"well,my love for you is just like the cycle in which there is no starting."

God made the world and everything in it in 6 days and rested. Then God made man, and rested. The man then asked God for a mate, so God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man. God then took a rib from the man and made woman. Since then neither God nor man has rested.

God created Adam and some time later Adam said to God that he was lonely and needed a mate.
God asked Adam to describe the mate that he would like.
Adam said:
"Intelligent, attractive, long hair, good sense of humour, easy-going, supportive, willing to compromise, tolerant, open-minded, fun, creative, resourceful, interested in sport..."
God said that will cost you an arm and a leg.
Adam said, what can you give me for a rib?
The rest as they say is history.....

Women are like parking spaces.
All the best ones are taken.
If you hang around waiting for a good one to come free, some other person will nip in and take it from you.
