She sent me Private Message to help her earn money by signing up under her!

A friend here sent me a Private Message to help her earn money by signing up under her in one paying site. She said she is in dire need of money and enumerated all her health problems. I was reluctant at first because I don't have time to spend in any other site anymore but she begged and so I signed up in order to help her because that would give her an instant earnings. After I signed up... she disappeared! I never see her again in my posts but I can spot her around in others sometimes. Ha!ha!ha! Have you been fooled this way too or I am the only innocent victim? Do you think she just played a trick on me?

Well, you can always stop doing those works in the site that you signed under her. Remember one thing, it is good thing to help people and in this case, she didn't cheat any money from you. Maybe you should send her a private message asking her what's wrong with her. It might be that she really is in big trouble! Don't put the blame on her so soon. By the way, do you mind telling us who is she?

Actually I did not do anything in the site at all! All she needed actually was for me to just sign up because that would give her an instant bonus. I think she sent the same message to all of her friends. I just don't know how many of us were fooled or I could be the only one! Ha!ha!ha! I don't need to ask her or send her private message because I saw her actively participating here in others discussion and she looks okay. In fact she should be the one who should send me a private message of thanks but she did not. I also checked her in the other site and she was also so active. That shows she is well and good! I don't need to tell you who she is my dear. Just be careful in adding friends. If a friend sends you the same message then you already know who she is!

Oh she could really be tagged a swindler. It's just like in real life when a person will approach you and ask for help because she has no money to buy medicine to cure her diabetis, cancer, tubercolosis and blah, blah, blah, blah! Then after getting what she wanted she did not even come back to give thanks. It's okay if she got bedridden and was unable to stand up anymore but what about if you could see her just casually walking along your place and can't even drop by and say hello, thanks I'm well again and walking! Thank you for your help!

That's a pitiful way how to earn referrals. I don;t like the idea of strangers forwarding me with their links without asking for it. However I do have genuine friends here and we do exchange sites every now and then.

Well, it's okay at least you helped her in some way. I do believe in karma though so it is never wise to fool other people just to put yourself in an advantage.

Yes dear, I will do as you are doing. I will now ignore any invitations especially fron newbies. It's okay with long time friends here who have been my buddy buddies already. I could wholeheartedly give any support that I can afford.

That's a bit frustrating though. If someone sends me a message and would tell me to do that, I'll probably investigate first on the site and the person who sends the message. Validate the facts and if it turns out well, I'll probably join the site.

Yes Neng, you are right..I have to investigate first and be not a willing victim just like that. At any rate, I've helped her already and I did it in good faith. Next time however, I'd be more careful!

Hi my friend, I am pretty sure she is just looking for referrals and to convince people she used her so called problems hahahaha. Well, she will not be successful anyway, if you will not be active in the site she had let you signed up. Well, you can not trust anybody this time except if you really know the person. I have been receiving so many invitations similar to that but I don't pay attention because others are just using us. Hope, she reap he consequence if ever she fooled many others.

I am not as wise as you my friend! I can be easily beguiled once a person talk about health problems. Anyway I just wish the sign up bonus she got has helped her. I've been spotting her here at mylot participating in the posts of others but not in mine. Ha!ha!ha! She taught me a good lesson though. Next time, I'd do as you do!

I am wondering if you have already given your paypal or moneybookers account, I hope the site was not a scam, because ofttimes one couldn't be approved right away without a confirmation of a paypal or any online account for that matter, its more fearful especially one day you found out that what you have hardly invested here in mylot would be grabbed or stolen with other scam sites. I think you just did something what I think I would also do, in favor for that person, well, don't worry dear in most case it happens to me several times here in mylot.

Thank you for giving me more reasons to be careful. I'm glad I did not give any account details yet. However even without the account details, the mere fact that I registered under her, she already got a bonus. that was what she said, I need to just sign up for her to get that bonus even without actively participating. She however did not show up in any of my posts after she got what she wanted from me.Ha!ha!ha!

Ha!ha!ha! You said it! I could spot her once in a while in others post my dear so whenever I do, I really am a little bit offended but not quite. She taught me a good lesson to be careful next time around so I should rather take the whole thing on the positive side.

Hi there... I guess in this medium of exposure, one can somehow find himself/herself as "been used" or "taken advantage of" on more instances than one would like to be in. Trust is a "virtue" here that too many can play on. Perhaps my friend as there really wasn't much but a sign up that was involved you can just take it with a grain of salt and move on. Tricksters, pranksters, spammers or whatever they are called will really never get anywhere in this world in the long run. Perhaps now you can just label her as one of your "frenemy" hehehe... Be careful next time...happy mylotting...

Even thought she play trick on you but you doesn't have any losses. Just take this as helping others as she just wanna earn some buck when you join the sites. Furthermore you are only joining you didnt send her money or what so you are not losing anything. Just let it be and take it as help others but i must admit that the way that girl trick you is wrong she shouldn't have use cheats like sickness to beg your pity.

I did not really lose any amount but that girl lost my trust. Of course I wish she will at least show up in my posts here to at least show her gratitude but no she did not. I could spot her participating in the posts of others but not in mine. Ha!ha!ha! You see how I have been tricked. It could be that she really has sickness and she needed money so I signed up under her and she got bonus for that, however, she is not bedridden and she could still actively perform online jobs, but how come she could not even participate in my posts but she could participate in others? That in a sense annoyed me a bit but I just laughed it off because anyway that is a lesson to learn and a lesson to share to others here as well.

Like you said you have acted in good faith. You have shown that you are the better person and that is really all that matters. people that use others for financial gain and give nothing in return are bound to find themselves friendless and alone. You can rest easy that you have done the right thing. If I was you I would not hesitate to do the same again. As long as you are not losing anything in the process. I have a policy to always give the benefit of the the doubt to someone. They will show their hand soon enough and then you will know. At least you have done what is right by trying to help someone. Don't feel bad and don't be tricked by this person again. You have done the right thing.

Hah! She just disappeared huh! Forgive her, she might be, ahem, busy with her health problems . Ey! We really never know right? Maybe she's really in dire need of money and the reason you can still see her around is because she's still looking out for more "friends" to help her "needs". Hmmm... why do I sound so sarcastic? LOL! Well salonga, that incident just proved you're a good person for helping here. You've been a victim I guess but at least you can always say you did something good if it turns out that lady is really "sick" . Well, nobody approached me with the same trick.. errr.. private message yet. But I'll remember you when one comes up.

So be careful dear, always remember this post!

Yes, what a way to fool people! Just be careful my dear to those who add you as friend. It's okay to approve their request of friendship but be very careful to those who send you private message for their benefit. They are oftentimes nothing but users! Beware!

That was not nice.She/He could have atleast said thank you and not disappear like that.I guess there are really people like them.I am glad to know you just laughed about that.Good thing she/he did not ask you for money. What if you obliged you good samaritan salonga.I hope he/she would not do the same with the new users in mylot,as well as the old ones.I also wish the admin could do someting about this messages.Screening should be done to avoid users abusing the use of the privilages in this site.

Yes, you are right there must be screening but inasmuch as there is no such screening done then it is up for us to screen ourselves. Don't get fooled my dear if in case a friend sends you same kind of private message. I find nothing wrong with helping her but what I was expecting is for her to show some kind of gratefulness for favor I did to her.
