Are you using Windows Vista? If you are and your system is slow here are some things you can look at to speed up the system. First off you all know that Microsoft states that the Minimum requirements for RAM in Windows Vista is 1 Gig of RAM Well to speed up your system try adding 1 Gig or more of Ram and that should take the slowness out of Vista. It does work, I am using Vista and think it is great. my spec's are core2duo 2 gig and 2 Gig of Ram

But using 2G RAM on xp will faster than vista, this was what i experienced. I think only 4G RAM can seems to be better, as xp cant support 4G. Is there any idea can speed up vista by setting?

you can go through and disable some of your start up programs to get a little more speed out of it. but if you meet all the requirements of Vista, adding Ram should help the speed if your extremely slow

I should do that too. But I minimize the tasks at the task bar and it help to make my vista a little bit faster.
