I was wondering how many myLotters like a little adventure in their kitchens? How many of you climb out of your comfort zone and cook something totally foreign to your normal style of cooking. I try to expand my comfort zone all the time. My biggest question is what is your latest foray into the unknown? Mine was the wet burritos from last night.

I like to experiment with different kinds of herbs in my cooking. In my country we usually use coconut milk in our cooking. Usually I just throw in anything that I think might work with the dish. Sometimes it works and sometimes it didn't. My mother usually is the judge for my work.

i know that feeling, around here Kraft Dinner (macaroni and cheese) is a big favourite. I find it rather bland and boring most of the time, so I like to spice it up and try new combinations of spices and sauces to go in it. Not all of these would work out either, but since KD is such a staple around here, you can try all manner of things with it as the base and everyone will still recognize it as mac and cheese.

That doesn't sound like me at all. But it does describe my hubby. He can be quite inventive in the kitchen. The last new thing he attempted, I belive was funnel cakes. They were yummy.
