I am using 50webs.com.They will not have the annoying banners. The space in the screen is fully for you.The only promotional thing that they have is the subdomain name like yourwebsite.50webs.com.If you also don't like it, you can get free short urls. To get a clear idea, I will explain what I have did. 1) I went to 50webs.com 2) Created a site in the name mindcreations Now I got a website address mindcreations.50webs.com 3) I went to http://www.co.nr 4) Created a free domain name mindcreations.co.nr and redirected to http://mindcreations.50webs.com (Don't worry it is very easy here) 5)Now I type http://mindcrations.co.nr in my browser address bar.. Done! Hope the idea is clear for you.

Well first you must know that you can't get a .com or a .net website for free since they are more popular and more business friendly. The domain providers would definitely charge you to allocate space on their servers. Rather you can get a .tk website account for free. Such accounts are more preferable if you don't want to spend money on domain names. Since you are using myLot and might also be using other methods to earn money online so it should not be a problem for you to spend little money on a good domain name. I personally prefer www.one.com (hosted by hp) and Yahoo small business services for web hosting solutions. There is this very useful site that you can try http://50webs.com/free_plan.html In order to get templates for your website the best free service available can be found at http://www.oswd.org/ Hope this helps. Take Care.

I am using 000webhost. I've been using it for almost 6 months now, and doesn't gave me any major problems, like server down. It has been tried and tested by many people. Go and give it a try yourself and see if it fits your needs in making websites.

I like bravenet because they have user-friendly templates and it's easy to navigate within their site while you are creating yours. I've had my website there for more than a year now and I'm satisfied at the free service. Blogger is okay too if your main goal is to regularly post happenings in your life. There are a lot of features you can add which can even make you money. I also like Multiply because you can upload anything from blogs, videos, photos, links, etc. but the navigation is a little limited as you can't have pages within your site. Hope this helps! :)

What type of site are you creating? (Ex: A blog? A photo gallery?) I have a comic site with my friend and we use Freewebs. I really like it. It's simple and easy to use; great for beginners. I also have a blogging site but I use FTP for it. Either way, a host is a host and I use Hostrator. Although, I have been experiencing some downtime problems from them lately. There are a number of great, free hosts out there. You can read up about some at these sites: http://www.free-webhosts.com/ http://www.thefreesite.com/free_web_space/ Good luck finding the best host for you! ^_^
