Opinions about an IUD?

Does anyone else around here have an IUD? If you do, which one? How do you like it? How did your periods change? Do you skip periods all together? Did it change anything else about your cycle? If you thought about it, but decided against it, why? Some of the girls that I work with are thinking about getting one, and my opinion is one-sided. I LOVE my Mirena. My cycles are so light, they're almost non-existant. I don't have to worry about a pill everyday. No cramps anymore. It's amazing. What about you guys?

I have the Mirena too! I was a little concerned at first because I heard of someone's becoming misplaced, but after my follow-up visit I was assured by u/s it was still in place. While it was pretty painful for the placement, it is great to have nearly no period at all. It's mostly spotting. I love not having to worry about taking a pill every day or not having to worry myself if I forget to take the pill. The Mirena is there and I don't have to worry about it until I'm ready to have another child!!
