What is your favorite messenger client?

For me it would have to be MSN since most of my friends use it. But nowadays I use freeware programs that allow me to log into three different messenging programs that allow me to log into AIM, MSN, and Yahoo at the same time. Currently I'm using the freeware Pidgin in order to do this. What about you? What's your favorite and why? (:

primarily i use YM and MSN as second if remote help is required by my friends. I use skype also for my other affiliate contacts.

My favorite instant message program is AIM. Almost all of my friends have it and it's beena around for a while. I also like how easy it is to customize it and how you can access from a lot of online web messengers. My second favorite would be Yahoo Messenger since I can use it as I'm checking my e-mail and it's easiest for me to use!

i would have to say gmail. Not only can a meesage I also recieve my emails and i have alot of memory in my outbox and inbox.
