Do you have a true friend?

yes i have a true friend. she has been there for me even on my rough times:) she understands me more than any other person:)

I have a few friends that have been in my life for years but i honestly believe i only have 1 true friend. Not that the others have ever done anythign to make me think that their not true friends but that really haven't done anything to make me feel that they are. I have learned over the years though that its not the quanity of friends you have but the quality. i'm very blessed and appreciative of the true friend i have and i wouldn't trade her for anything

This is a very good discussion because I am sure that there are a lot of people out there who have friends,some are just normal friends that are fun to hangout with sometimes,even though it is hard to trust them or count on them,then there are friends that are good friends,they are the type that you can kind of trust that you hang out with a lot,and can depend on for something,and they would be the one bailing you out of jail,and then there are best friends or aka true friends who are the ones you can count on for anything,they are always around when you need them,and you can tell them anything,and they are the ones who will be sitting in jail beside you going dang that was fun,and the song You Find Out Who Your Friends Are comes to mind and the ones who come to help you in the middle of the night are best friends or true friends,I have several friends that used to be good friends,but they owe me money,and they only call or come around when they need or want something so me and my fiance avoid them whenever possible because it is better that way,and they do nothing but cause us trouble,and then we have two friends that are becoming good friends that we are hanging out with more often,we trust them,and we like them but they are just good friends,and then I have two best friends one of them is my fiance who is always there for me,she always knows how to make me smile,and make me laugh,and she can always cheer me up when I am in a bad mood,I love her with all my heart and soul,and I trust her with everything I have,and I know I can tell her anything just like she knows I can tell her anything,and then the other is a guy I met in school we have the same birthday except I am three years older than him,and that is part of the reason we became best friends and he is like a brother to me,and he would do anything for me,and I would do anything for him,and we have both helped each other out of some pretty tight situations,and I trust him,and I tell him certain things,but I do not tell him everything just like he does not tell me everything,but I can live with that.

You would know a true friend in times when you needed someone the most and when a person comes and offer a hand or a shoulder is the one you would know is a TRUE friend, truly said that true and real friends are hard to find, but they could be found when we start to become one to others, I believe in the song I used to sing in my primary years, I hope you know that song, which goes "Love is something that you give it away, it will come right back to you..." in like manner you can replace that with friendship, afterall the tie that holds the knot of every relationship is Love. If you are young,you will realise very soon in your later life that you have not a single true friend.But many more friends will be found on relationship of mutual benefits.
