Do you put off things for doing them later? I always get this urge of not doing the thing at that moment and i put it off to be done later, of course only to regret my decision later! Are you a procrastinator too? And what things do you put off the most! I put off my college assignments till the deadline! And always spend the night before submission completing them!

I am a procrastinator, and was a BIG one during my college years. Most of the time I did my best work when I procrastinated. I currently procrastinate on some of my bills, which I know I should not do. A lot of people procrastinate, so do not feel as though you are alone if you are a procrastinator!

Unfortunately, I'm a procrastinator as well. =( However, I believe that I have improved significantly from last year as I no longer leave my school work until the complete last minute anymore. Doing my homework late is usually because of my bad memory rather than me putting them off for later. By not getting assignments and such over with early, we just cause much unneeded stress and paranoia for ourselves. As you said, procrastination is something we regret. Something we'll regret very soon after attempting, really. Stop leaving your college assignments until the deadline! xD *Suddenly remembers math and English assignment and rushes off.*

Lol... Hope you complete your assignments on time... I really appreciate your advice and this time for sure will complete mu assignments on time. It really cause me a lot of trouble to complete my work at the end-moment. Usually I m not able to give my 100% in the assignments which I absolutely hate! But with so many positive responses I m seriously feeling motivated to stop my bad habit! Thanks for you response! Happy Mylotting!

In some cases, I am a procrastinator (usually for less important things), but I often do the main things, especially for school, quickly to "get through them" because I know it's just going to be harder for me later. If I procrastinate a task once, I often procrastinate it many times because I feel encouraged to keep postponing it. For school assignments, I don't procrastinate no matter how much I don't feel like doing them if I think that I'm focused and that my mind's in the right place for getting something done. Most of the time, I put things off until later if I feel completely unfocused. If I can't do a good job right now, what's the point in doing it? I agree with you, I usually regret my decisions later. Procrastination really doesn't help in my opinion, even though we're tend to doing it - it just make things worse. xD

You are absolutely right! Know what I even had resolved on the new year eve this time that I will not put off things to be done later! That helped me a bit but I was again back to my ol' bad habit! But this time I definitely will complete everything on time! Thanks for you response!

Procrastination, such an interesting variable from a psychological point of view. I read a few months ago a couple of articles about procrastination and I came to the conclusion that I was a procrastinator during my college years because of the emotion of studying under pressure. What a freak, right? Hahahaha!
