i feel internet is important may be to contact relatives and friends, may to find some information, to do online earnings, to get entertained and watch movies and listen music and for this all things we use internet and it is basically used in life and daily. so it is just like getting addicted to internet and i feel that it plays a quite important role in life and internet is highly important for us.
do you use the internet for all these purpose only or more than that or for other purposes, please do share your thoughts on my discussion and thanks to stop by and reading it?

Yes, I think the internet is very important. Can you believe the world without the internet? Like you mentioned, on the internet, you can watch movies, and listen to music, check your emails, find local or nationwide news. Many, many things you can do on the internet.

yes most of us have a great usage of internet and we just cant imagine life without internet as we most of them do some other thing and use computer in different ways as termed above. may be there are people who dont use internet but most of us do and we just cant survive without it and hope the technology increase more and more and help humanity.

The Internet is unquestionably important. I feel that it, although a recent technology, is already reliable enough to be used for a wide variety of purposes. The Internet has evolved over the years and improved, and has become an essential part of people's lives today. It's one of those things that we can't imagine life without, a life that people not long before us have lived.
I, personally, use the Internet for all the things you've mentioned and perhaps more, but I feel that no matter how useful the Internet may be, developing an addiction is still unhealthy. We should use the technology best we can without becoming completely dependant on it, because there are so many more things we can discover in the real world, where the Internet isn't present.
The Internet is important, but, like everything else, it should be used in moderation. ^_^ It's meant to aid our lives, but not lead them.

yes you are right it is good that we use internet in most of the ways to provide us results but it is just one kind of dependness i feel becuase it is not only we use internet in our homes for all the basic purposes but it is used even in industries and companies where most of the production and other jobs run through computers and the world is almost computerised and most of the things depends on computers. it is called addiction or dependentness whatever but is the fact that ccomputer and internet is used worldwide.

I use the internet for all of your reasons plus, living only with cats and dogs who, however much I love them, cannot satisfy my need for intelligent conversation. So one of my reasons for using the internet is to make new friends, find new opportunities and to have some "reasonably" intelligent discussions, like on myLot for example. thank you, i can understand what you are trying to convey and it is really important to have converstions and pets cant do that and internet is a good way to do that without having any worries about anythings like how we face it in life and mylot is a good place to do that and i hope it is not only internet and i wish even mylot stays for a long term and fullfill the peoples need like how it is doing it now and thank for your response and i would wish if you stop by my discussions in future to any reply to that.

I think that the Internet is absolutely essential! I just don't know how I would live without it! I have come to rely on the Internet now and it's like my very close buddy! It gives me the information I seek, it let's me listen to wonderful music online and it also let's me play games which I still do even though I'm an adult! I hope that the good old net remains around forever, at least I hope that it outlives my life time! Andrew

yes i dont think so internet is going to end as technology is incresing day by day and there are no any chances that techonology will go down and internet may end one day, may be it is not possible at present atleast but lets hope that it should increase more and make more usefull but dont increase it s charges and help us all the time.

The Internet is very important. I have family and friends all over, and email is how I keep in touch with them. Of course, I earn extra money on myLot! :) Every day I listen to music and play games online. And I do a lot of research online. I learn a lot! Yes, the Internet is VERY important! :)

yes internet help us in many ways to contact our dear ones and help us to cummincate and remember them always and reduce our farness atleast by speaking to them. entertainment is very important in our lives or else the life becomes a bit difficult and boring and internet makes us feel comfortable in entertaining too, may be it is movies or music or games. finding information is important specially for students and who are into jobs and yes the people who stay at home like me also use internet to find information may be it is for studies or for any trips. so in all ways internet is really very important.

The internet is the major resource information and communication pathway that had been very useful to me.I'd been using it in studying especially in my thesis nowadays, doing some research, getting in contact with my families abroad and a good way to find jobs online and earn money.

i know internet is commonly used by us daily and is really very important to us may be for all the aspects from which we can do through internet without which our life will become seriously difficult and it effects very badly and the work may increase more and more and difficult at the same time. so i hope this service should increase and become better so that it will become stronger further and help us more and more.

yes internet is really important for the people who are really dependent on it and making their earnings and also running their lives. yes but some people use it for entertainment and all that, as far as internet is used for some positive things it is good and should not be used to bad things and which can cause trouble.

Yes the internet is realy important and i spend far too much time on the internet surfing and in mylot. It can take over your life.
The internet does open so many doors for everyone but it is also very scary as it can take over everything. Sometimes I wish for the simpler thnigs in life again.

you are right everytime the person should use the internet for a good and usefull purpose and should not trouble others and cause problems and usually it happens that youngsters use internet for some wrong things and it will spoil their habbits and also create some problems to most of them. and thanks for the reply and response.

i think internet is not only importnat but also a must for every one.i dont use internet for all the purpose but do use for the some important purposes. just like you said for keeping contact with my friends and family. and alos to get upadated information about everything. for me without intenet life is impossible and i am completely addicted to interet

yes you are right but let me tell you i wasnt using internet before when i was studying and also after my studies and use to contact my friends and relatives with my mobile and never used internet and sometimes when i want some information i would obviously go to internet and sometimes when i had to apply some job i would go to internet and never i used internet for more things and now from two years i am away from my parents and abroad i am using internet daily and for most of the purposes, so i sometimes think that i am addicted to internet and when i have some problem in connection i very much miss it.

The computer is just a waste of time box. I find it very easy to get side tracked on here. I actually logged on just a few minutes ago to look something up for a friend but instead logged on to myLot.

may be it is waste for you and i cannot agree with that as different people may think differently and you have liberty to give your comments. may be for some it is important and for some it is waste and it is comletely depends on our usage and our thoughts and how we feel like we give our comments about it. but anyways thanks for the response.

I think the internet is important for many reasons. It's a learning tool for our young sense we have become such a technology based society. It allows us to get answers to questions from word of mouth where we might not now anyone thats knowlegeable about the subject. It allows us to keep in contact with friends and family all over the world without the outrageous long distance bill.I believe in todays households the internet has become a household necessity. Where else can you get knowledge, entertainment and companionship all wrapped up in one.

i agree with you affcourse internet is a whole package which of learning, communicating, and entertainment and more, till a person use it in a right way.

Yes internet is very important in the life of a modern person however it should not take over our daily duties, the duty towards our family etc. I think addiction puts things out of perspective and we do lose our goal when we put internet the centre of our life. © ronaldinu 2008

yes i agree what you are trying to convey, yes it is very important to keep our personal life and the fun or online professionalism differently as it may obstruct our lives and may create problems. and i really understand it because when my husband after comming back from his job and browse through internet for a longer time i would get wild and feel lonely and this way may be there are more other people like me. so better to keep the things separately and have joy in lives.

YES! Of course. there's no doubt about how important the internet is. Even older people (like my mom), who are not fond of using the computer, know how advantageous it is to have internet connection. There's just so many things to do on the internet. i think in the future, the TV and many other electronics will be obsolete only because of the power of the internet.

now also internet provides us entertainment and fullfills the need of television but it cant be used as regular for entertainment atleast at this present time may be in future it can happen like how you tell, we never know how technology is going to increase it value day by day, so it is difficult to judge but it is sure the technology improves and find many ways to facilitate people.

in my case internet is more important like contact family abroad with cam to cam and its a cheapest option to communicate friends and family. also very advantage specially if you live in the middle of nowhere.like you can buy stuff online,doing some business online and banking.sometimes we are lazy or too far to go to bank of doing banking but if we have internet we can do it at home without any time limitts.

yes i can understand and it is the same case with me before i wasnt using the internet for so common but now it is a basic usage of mine and i always try to do some or the other thing as my need is and it is really important to us and most of us use internet may be for basic usage or for official usage it doesnt matter and the thing is we use internet and that is what matters and make internet more important.
