wii game recommendations please?

I am doing some Christmas shopping for family, and am planning to get a wii game for my cousin. He is 16 and likes rpg type games as well as strategy games. I am not familiar with the wii system, so I would greatly appreciate any recommendations of what to get for him. Thank you for any help.

I should point out to you that the last three games the first poster suggested are available on the Wii Shop Channel, so you don't have to go looking for them in stores. Anyway, here's some more games on the shop channel:
Breath of Fire 2
Shining Force
Phantasy Star II, III and IV
Military Madness (Kind of like Advance Wars)
Shining in the Darkness
RPGs/strategy games available in disc format:
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
