is there such a thing as a bigger sin?

assume that there are two persons who died and both did not repent on their sin before they died. assume further that the first person's sin is stealing $50 from his mother and the other person's sin is that he kills people. will both of them go to hell? what do you think will happen to them as soon as they die?

They will both go to hell unless they repent, and that is because God opens up their heart. The most serious sin is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, and denying that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. It does not matter what the sin is, both are equally as bad. The consequence of the theft could be just as serious as the murder. The mother may have been a diabetic and needed the money to buy insulin, she may have needed the money for groceries, so it is not that it is just money, it is what it might be used for.
