"You've Got 1 Message"

There are many adds across the internet and I usually never fall for them. However, myLot has one tricky one..=P When I first joined, I fell for the "You've Got 1 Message" banner more than once. I thought the reason I kept being redirected and had no actual messages in my message folder was a glitch on myLots' part. xD Did any of you ever fall for any internet adds? This one in particular?
