There are alot of us who proclaim that we are Christians. I am not judging no one but to be a true Christian we have to have Christ Living in us. Galatians 2:20, Romans 8:10-11, Colossians 1:27 and Ephesians 3:17. The astonishing reality of one's Christian Life is that God has transferred the responsibility of our success to Jesus Christ, he is the only one who is adequate to meet the trials, temptation and opportunities we will face. A person can preach or do missionary work without Christ but it is impossible to be a Christian if Christ does not live in our heart. I have seen Christians here in MYLOT who is seeking souls for the Kingdom of God but is not doing it in the proper way. As Christian one should always remember this: When the Spirit of Christ is in your heart he can do through you things that you can never do for yourselves. He who is Pure is purity in a world of immorality, He who is Victor is your victory in a world of temptation, He who is Love is your love in a world of self seeking. He who is the Resurrection and the Life is now your very own Christian Life. As Christians please reflects on John 14:19-20. This will enable you to be humble and then the Christian Community here in MYLOT will be an experience no one will forget. I hope and pray that as you seek souls it will be according to the word of God. May God Guide and Protect you as you seek souls for his Kingdom. Kerry

That was beautiful. My friend and I talk all the time about how we as Christians tend to lean to our own understanding of how God wants us to be. Proverbs 3:4-6 says: "And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." So many people try to force feed Christianity in their misguided zeal for God. Paul was guilty and so was I (still am at times). I have been discussing that very thing in my Blog. You my dear are conformation that I am hearing correctly from God.

Yes Cathy, God does have away to tell us what he want us to hear. It is so good when one can attest to the words of God. I was there laying down after my laptop crash and I was unable to continue here in MYLOT on Sunday when I pick up this book that I was reading "Your Quest For God" written by Richard Bennett and while reading I realize that what Mr. Bennett was talking about is the same thing that Christians here in MYLOT was doing. I would encourage you to try and get this book. I have finish reading this and going on to read Food For Faith. I am hoping that it is as fruitful as Your Quest for God. If you want the distribution center you can PM me and I will send the address to you. Kerry

I think as Christians we should set an example by our deeds rather than our words. Other people should recognise that we are Christians not by the words that we say but by our actions. © ronaldinu 2008

You are so correct ronaldinu and I hope that there will be Christians who will realize that this is what the bible says.

Cathy, it sends a negative. What some Christians does not realize is that when one is baptize that is not the end of it. We have to have a Together Time with God (i.e. reading the bible and praying). Alot of us know the bible but does not imprint it on our heart. It is because of Love why Christ came. In the book of 1 John, John speak about love and as Christians we need to practice this. We as Christians should stop fight against the flesh because it is not the flesh which is the problem it is the principalities (spirits) which the bible talks about we should be against. We need to have forgiveness in our heart and once this is achieve then this "Hatred" that we have for our brothers and sisters will stop. If we read the bible and practice its principles we will have that Love which we are not showing amongst our family whether it be the ones in Christ or the other. The bible says "For God so LOVE the world that he gave his only begotten Son, whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but has everlasting life". We need to practice Love. Without Love we will continue to Hate and this is not what God wants for his children in Christ.

I believe you have the key to the whole thing right here. It is by our love for one another that others are won over. i see so many Christians who do not love their brothers and sisters so what does that say to the world?

So very true, kerriannc! We need to keep our focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is so easy to let this world bring us down and away from God. As Christians, we know that we do not belong to this world. This is just our temporary home. Our real home is in heaven! But while we are here, we must do the Lord's work and help bring people to the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you!

God bless you too Springlady. Yes this world is not our home but while the breathe of life is in us we should set our eyes on the prize. It is so good that Jesus Christ die on the cross because if it was not for his mercy we would have been lost. What a wonderful God he is. A sinless man going on the cross for us sinners. I am so glad that I am returning back to the foot of the cross. It has been years out there wandering but now I have decided to follow him. I am also asking you to pray for me. Take care Kerry
